The cue tip is the most important item of the cue - it affects touch, backspin, accuracy, precision, and consistent smoothness of stroke. It is therefore extremely important to maintain your tip and ferrule. The tip is typically made of leather and comes in different sizes, qualities and shapes. The most regular types are
screw-on-tips and glue leathers:


 

The screw-on-tip is made with plastic- or metal joint This type is usually seen on standard and non-professional cues. The screw-on-tip is very easy to change.
 

 

Glue leathers must be glued to the ferrule. Glue leathers is regular on all better and professional cues. It is a bit more complicated to change a glue leather and the product assortment is very wide.
