A-Z about soccertables

|
Buy quality!
There is a lot of different kinds of tables on the
market - this means that as a buyer you have to be
carefull not to buy too cheap a table. If you are
looking for quality - look for:
- Cabinet-thickness - the thickness of
the cabinet has something to do with the stability
of the table. The thiner cabinet - the more
unstabile the table is. If you a looking to buy
quality the cabinet must be more than 16 mm thick.
- Type of rods - there are a couple of
different type of rods - telescop, going-through
and solid going-through. Telescop rods are the
most regular in Denmark, while they don´t come out
on the opposite side of the table when playing.
This way you avoid any accidents from happening.
There are different sizes of telescop rods.
Going-through rods can either be solid og hollow -
they will appear on the opposite side of the table
when playing. We do not recommend this type of rod
for children or teenagers.
- Playing area - comes in laminate,
linoleum, glass and tempered sanded glass. The
cheaper tables usually comes with laminate
playing area - these playing areas will in time
become worn and crooked. Linoleum are used on the
tables approved for tournament.
Glass playing areas are the most common used on
quality tables - they are easy to clean. If they
break - it is very easy to replace. If your table
is with tempered sanded glass you will have the
pleasure of total ball control.

- Adjustment is very important if the
table is being moved from time to time or if there
is some irregularities in the floor. With
adjustable feet/legs you can make the score even.
- Spareparts - for the more expensive
tables you can buy spareparts. By buying a table
where it is possible to get spareparts if it
breaks - you minimize the time for repair and the
trouble if it should break. Normally it is not
possible to get spareparts for the cheaper tables
- this can in the end mean that you have to scrap
the table if a rod or the cabinet breaks.
