Removing dust and dirt
By regular maintaining your cloth you will achieve improved cloth speed, performance and extended cloth life. Lack of maintenance will lead to wholes in the cloth caused by chalk dust and acceleration marks from the balls.

For cleaning you can use a vacuum cleaner with a special end-piece - to protect the cloth from being torn during cleaning. Vacuum from the center towards the cushions on each side of the table - this way you will get the most efficient cleaning.

You can also use a brush to clean the cloth - the cleaning procedure is excactly the same as with the vacuum cleaner. Brush from the center towards the cushions. Just remember to vacuum the collected dirt underneath the cushions in the end.

Fluids
Should you by accident spill fluid (beer, wine, water etc.) on the cloth - the only way to minimize the damage is to carefully use a towel to soak up the fluid. Never scrub or press the towel against the cloth - this will cause damage to the fibers. After these kind of accidents - there is a possibility that when the cloth dries it will leave a blotch.

If the table is with a slate there will be no damage when you spill fluids. But if the table is with a wooden plate the fluid will cause the wood to change size - causing the surface to be bulge.
